A SHARED ADVENTURE.
To conceive and develop a product line of 50 sailboat and powerboat models, beyond skill and creativity, there must be passion. For fifty years, this passion has inspired us and moved us forward. Enthusiastic sailors, we share our customers’ dreams of sun and sea spray, of escape from the everyday. The passion of the men and women of Jeanneau has allowed us to plot a unique course marked by notable successes. From the Sangria of the 1960s to the grand Sun Odyssey DS sailboats and Prestige motor yachts of the early 21st century, the distance we have travelled together is exhilarating.Today, our passion for adventure at sea is stronger than ever, and we are proud to share this with you.
A DISTINCTIVE BRAND.
For our customers who take to the open waters often, Jeanneau offers safe, seaworthy boats withoutcompromise: strong and sturdy in all types of weather, comfortable while cruising, sure when the wind tests the sails and always pleasant at port.
We are proud of our values: adherence to the true maritime tradition; love of beautiful, fluid lines; use of state-of-the-art technologies, careful attention to functionality; security and respect for nature. They have enabled us to make the difference and to build our success in France, in Europe and around the world. These values are present in the minds and hearts of all of us at Jeanneau. When you step aboard a Jeanneau, you place your confidence and trust in these men and women of conviction.
TARGETING EXCELLENCE IN FORTY FIELDS.
Fifty years of experience handed down, of shared passions, of adaptation to new materials and increasing demands have infused Jeanneau with a unique expertise admired by many. The men and women of Jeanneau must assimilate such diverse fields as marine carpentry, cabinet making, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic engineering. Into their work, they have integrated modern glass fibres and new composite materials, including Kevlar.Together, they have mastered more than forty fields. Excellence is also the capacity to continually adapt and evolve.
THE CRAFTSMAN’S TOUCH.
Over the course of fifty years, we have transitioned from artisanally crafted wooden hulls to those made of sophisticated composite materials. The computer, automated machinery and the five-axel robot have found their place, but the final decisions still belong to the craftsmen, who rely on their irreplaceable savoir-faire and experience with boats at sea.
A NEW CLASSICISM BORN OF PROGRESS.
Client-focused, our approach is a blend of experience and innovation applied across many disciplines. With Dassault system’s CATIA® software, the most powerful computer-aided design tool on the market, everything is designed and tested upstream, from the original design concept to the smallest details, for each of the thousands of pieces that make up a boat. Next, with precision to a tenth of a millimetre, the five-axel robot cuts 100,000 wooden pieces daily, though always with manual adjustment.
QUALITY AND RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT ARE THE PROMISES OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT.
From the conception phase, we select leading naval architects - French, Italian and American - to work in collaboration with the Jeanneau Design Department. We make purchasing decisions with a preference for those suppliers who are references in their fields. This is especially true for equipment that determines the capability ofa boat: deck hardware, electronics, rigging, sails, steering systems and engines. Our exclusive quality control system follows a product through the entire production process and beyond. From tank tests to analysis of customer satisfaction questionnaires, we continually seek to improve our products with rigorous controls throughout the production line and frequent reviews of all suppliers. Lastly, Jeanneau dealers around the world are connected to our intranet system to facilitate customer service and spare parts orders.
