Sunseeker Predator 80

Based on an artical of Jack Haines from MOTOR BOAT magazin:

How to stand out in a crowded place like Miami? Miami the party capital of the world where the people are beautiful and the cars are even more so, and then there are the boats… if you do not have at least three big impressive boats you probably did not even try to stand out, with Miami boats striking color motif is required, and there is no such thing as a design too extravagant.
Even the authorities go around the waterways in thin speed boats with four engines.
So how can you set yourself apart with all this exotica? With the Sunseeker Predator 80 you will have a good chance at that.
Tied up in the prestigious Coconut Grove marina the Predator 80 - looked just great!
Z-shaped hull windows, which gives the 80 a unique profile that intensifies the feeling that the boat leaps forward.
The windscreen mullions coated with carbon fiber wrap only contributes more to the sleek appearance of the Predator 80.

Talk of the Town
If none of the above distinguish the Predator 80 from the rest enough in your eyes, you can do what one owner from Miami of a Predator 80 has done, and paint it all in champagne gold.
A first for Sunseeker of this model is the option to add a hot tub on the bow.
- Sunseeker has done a great job of taking the extra weight (up to 6 people and about a ton of water) into account, so the weight has no effect on the deck below.
The hot tub replaces the standard table and sofa that used to be on the Predator and is a perfect and luxurious finish for the ultimate party platform.
You can just imagine it, the three piece saloon doors wide open, as well as the great sunroof. Salon and cockpit merge into one large space; the smell of fresh fish fried on the pan in the kitchenette, while people are sunbathing in the huge sun bed. And when the heat starts to be too much they go cool off in the hi - lo bathing platform, or they can go splash in the warm hot tub up on the bow.

The feeling on the Predator 80 is spacious, it is more than one meter wider than the- Predator 82 and although it does not look like that, it is a high Yacht.
The living room is designed so that it gives a feeling that it is even greater than it really is, thanks to the great amount of light that enters inside. The side windows alone would have done the job very well, but the addition of a large glass sanroof in the front and the panes of glass in the aft create a spectacular and mesmerizing effect.
When going past the dining table and helm you reach a twisting staircase leading to the bedrooms.
The highlight in this area is the master cabin and its sheer size.
It has a comfortable sofa under the window, a walk in closet, large shower, and a table fixed to the wall in the corner. With all this and still it has enough room for a few people at a time, to walk freely.
Open floor space gives the feeling of a luxury cabin and this cabin has it big time!
There are three more cabins, in addition to a two-berth crew cabin at the stern.
In The VIP Cabin, you will find plenty of floor space, a stylish dresser with a flip – up mirror, and a private bathroom.
The remaining two twin cabins share a bathroom.
All over the boat you will see small touches that will remind you that you are on a unique yacht.
Soft orange leather strips, flashes of chrome, for example in the master cabin the dresser has bounded strips of chrome and the flip up mirror is coated in the orange leather.
The louvered wood around the T.V is also a nice touch.
There is a great deal of flexibility with the design, with a large selection of interiors and finishes to choose from and Sunseeker will even let your own personal designer to get involved all to insure that your Predator 80 will fit your needs like a glove.

Large but flexible
Then we realized that the 80 has plenty of space, but this is a Sunseeker yacht so she also has to meet high standards when it comes to its performance.
There is no room for double interpretation in its size range; its performance is the best you'll find.
With a pair of MTU engines with 2640hp, Arneson surface drives, this baby can reach speeds of up to 46 knots.
What is most amazing with this huge yacht is the lightness of it, take it to the open sea, turn the wheel, close your eyes and feel like you're on a Portofino 40. The Predator 80 is light, curvy and very easy to maneuver.
So to our question from the beginning, will the Predator 80 will stand out above the rest in a place like Miami that is known for the luxurious yachts anchored there, the answer is definitely yes!!
If the looks of her does not catch your attention straight away, so its performance will surely do so.
The best thing about the Predator 80 is, that it is simply fun, it's fun looking at her, and just plain fun to walk onboard, enjoy the sun caressing your skin and hear the music playing.  Its color scheme (as of now) is a subtle mix of black / white, but still it's a yacht that will attract attention in any marina in the world!!
