Based on an artical of Jack Haines from MOTOR BOAT magazin:
The NC14 is the new flagship for the NC series of Jeanneau.
Hull designed by the known Tony Castro, and it's the first NC boat that uses - VOLVO IPS.
The NC14 was launched at the Paris Boat Show in the shadow of the extremely estimated Voyage 42. But NC14 definitely deserves a place of its own in the spotlight.
On this Scale, the layout of the boat works great, the living room and cockpit are in the same phase. The Cockpit doors swing widely open and allows a smooth transition from the living room to the cockpit, and the back of the dining room couch has a s two-way backrest so you can sit facing in toward the living room or facing out and watch the water.
The dining room table doubles in size and there are two more stools that can be added to increase number of seats.
There is another dining room, elevated and smaller that is located opposite to the helm and is ideal for breakfast, it can also transform in to a small sun pad. Now you're probably asking, a sun pad indoor?!? So yeah, it seems a bit odd at first glance, but it is located just below a large glass sunroof that allows you to soak up the sun while you are chatting with the skipper.
The diversity continues in the lower deck, the master cabin was given a pair of scissor berths and shares a large heads compartment with the twin guest cabin.
The hull is different to what we have seen so far on the NC range, with a deep vertical bow, the sharp forefoot leading back to flatter aft sections, where the – IPS are stored.
